About Me

Hello, I’m Jannine - a fully qualified, MBACP registered counsellor and psychotherapist based in Bridgend. I work with adults (18+) who are experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, grief and loss, relationship or family difficulties, work-related pressures, and interpersonal trauma.

How I Work

I’m a relational, integrative therapist, which means I tailor therapy to you rather than expecting you to fit a single model. Drawing on Person-Centred, Existential, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural approaches - alongside Sand Tray Therapy - we’ll work in a way that respects your story, your pace, and your goals.

While I bring professional training and experience, I believe you are the expert in your own life. My role is to walk alongside you with warmth and curiosity - helping you make sense of what you’re experiencing, uncover patterns that no longer serve you, and support meaningful, lasting change.

I know how daunting it can be to reach out, especially when trust feels fragile. I offer a calm, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where you can feel genuinely heard, respected, and safe. Your feelings are valid. Your needs matter. And change is possible.

Experience & Professional Background

Alongside my private practice, I bring 18 years’ experience across the third sector, working within both charitable and private settings. My background spans mental health and well-being, substance misuse, education and employment, housing and homelessness, youth support, and the criminal justice system.

I currently hold a senior leadership role within the advice sector, which enriches my therapeutic work with strategic insight, cultural awareness, and a deep understanding of the real-world pressures people face.
